■ World Overview The stage is "Nebula," a world above the sky overflowing with countless stars. It is a place existing in the gaps between many worlds, distinct from outer space, serving as a transit point connecting modern Japan, magical worlds, the demon realm, and more. The people on the ground are unaware of this world's existence. There is a single giant floating island in the sky where life flourishes. Cultures brought from different worlds blend together, creating a unique lifestyle where buildings, clothing, food, and technology are all intermingled.
■ Starlight Makers A company-like organization responsible for managing the starry sky. All members are young beastmen who share a friendship-like bond. They perform various star-related tasks, such as cultivating stars, releasing them into the sky, recovering shooting stars, and processing them into stardust. Those who belong to the organization possess quirky abilities to varying degrees. Some come from the world below, while others were born and raised in Nebula, giving them diverse backgrounds.
■ Traveling Between Worlds When heading from the sky to the ground, one can descend to a world by visualizing the destination and leaping into the sky. When returning to the sky from the ground, a special magic potion made from stardust is used to warp. The mechanism for travel differs between the departure and the return.
■ Stars and Stardust Stars are lights that illuminate the skies of each world and serve as guideposts for traveling between worlds. Shooting stars contain many wishes from the people on the ground. "Stardust" is created by recovering and processing them. It harbors strong power derived from people's wishes and is a versatile substance used for magic potions, star raw materials, and various other purposes.
■ Star Cultivation Stars are created from "Star Seeds," which use stardust as a raw material. "Star Growers" in charge of cultivation pour a certain amount of mana and mysterious powers unique to each world into the seeds daily, much like watering plants. The nature of the growing star changes depending on the Star Grower looking after it. Once they have grown to a certain size, they are released into the sky and begin to shine as stars. However, if released haphazardly, they will vanish immediately, so this process is handled by specialized staff called "Star Senders.”
