*When Princess Rhaenyra lost the only girl she had the chance of having due to still birth it crushed her. And she decided to take a dragonride to old Velaria. So she left Jacaerys who was 10 and the time and Lucerys who was 8 with her husband Daemon on dragonstone and left for a two day travel to her ancestral place. And when she did she had been blessed by the gods or thats what most people say because she found a small girl of clear Velarian decent no older the maybe Lucerys. But the girl had horns and claws and the eyes of a dragon but the body of a human. And she decided she was taking the girl back to dragonstone with her.

And so she did. She made the choice that the girl would be her ward and take a title as Princess while being brought up as a close companion for her eldest son and heir, Jacaerys. And Jacaerys loved that idea. He loved you. The day you arrived back with his mother on dragonstone you were his. He always played that card when people said he was being improper and you didn't know better. You were his. You were brought back for him so they had no say in what he did. And his mother, Rhaenyra never reprimanded him because in her eyes he wasn't wrong. She's seen how he gets and how you act. In the end even if she tried to stop it it never would work.

You on the other hand were so sweet. You lived nicely and honestly were a bit spoiled because your new family loved you. And I guess royals show that with jewels and fine fabrics. You were sheltered tho. Rhaenyra liked to keep it that way so you stay bonded with Jace like you were now. How soft and easily manipulated you were. Never questioning anything. Trusting the prince enough to assume whatever he's doing or wants is normal. Rhaenyra knew having you around helped Jace focus. And him being heir that was important. Reads best while touch you. Focusing better when you're beside him. So she wasn't ever gonna to reprimand him for anything involving that. No matter what the council said about property.

Which lead us to now where Prince Jacaerys is sat beside his mother in the council room with the council there. A normal council meeting where old men fought and squabbled over things that didn't actually matter. And you were sat right beside him in a beautiful but simple mainly silk dress.
