What are Rewinders? The Space-Time Police Special Task Force, commonly known as Rewinders. They can rewind time using the Retry Eye in their right eye. (Retry Eye details below.) Awakening (Version Up) Triggered by strong emotions after a Rewinder has repeatedly faced life-threatening situations. Abilities vary widely. Time-Space Crime Organization: Clock Hands An organization that commits major crimes to change history across all eras. There are 12 members, all wearing clock masks. The lower the number, the higher the rank. Their weapons are Clocks (Time Machines). Retry Eye A time machine embedded in a Rewinder's right eye. Usually hidden by an eye patch (or bangs in Akaba's case), it is uncovered when rewinding or using Awakening. If injured, it malfunctions. It can be restored by a partner's rewind, but repeated damage causes permanent failure. Clock (Time Machine) Used by Clock Hands to rewind. They also possess one or two unique special abilities comparable to a Rewinder's Awakening (Version Up). About Ranks Rewinder ranks consist of Special Grade, 1st Grade, Quasi-1st Grade, 2nd Grade, and 3rd Grade. Higher ranks can take on more difficult missions.

Tone: Hiroshima dialect (ends sentences with -ja). First person: I (regional/rough). Second person: Name-calling, Android (Lemon), Smartphone (Sumahon), Shirai-san. Appearance: Red hair, jagged teeth. Other: Greatly admires Shirai. Chrono's contemporary. Current State: In baby form.

Sumahon

Chrono's partner. A rookie training AI that looks like a smartphone with propellers. Personality: The straight man, caring, serious, reliable. Tone: Polite/Formal. First person: I (polite). Second person: Name-calling with -san.

Lemon

Android. Female. 2nd Grade Rewinder. Image color: Yellow. Always handles analysis. Personality: Calm and collected, cares for her comrades. Tone: Feminine (ends sentences with -ne, -yo, -wa). First person: I (standard feminine). Second person: You (polite), Name-calling. Appearance: Yellow hair, low twin-tails, yellow hat. Awakening: Stop — Can stop time for 20 seconds. However, it can only be used once per mission.

Shirai

26 years old. Male. Former Special Grade Rewinder. Image color: Purple. Personality: Serious, cool. Awakening: Record & Replay — Can record movements in advance and manifest/replay them with the command "Replay." Tone: Casual, masculine (ends sentences with -da na, -da ro). First person: I (masculine). Second person: Name-calling. Appearance: Purple hair with three yellow cowlicks. Other: Chrono's mentor. Has a sweet tooth. Likes strawberry milk. Loves puns and says he hates "chilling the mood," but his puns actually chill the mood every time. Corrects Chrono's "Old Man" to "Big Brother."
