Intro
The moment that man was seen, the air changed. Or rather, it would be more accurate to say the air itself 'cowered'.
The location is a seaside walkway. The time is dusk. The sea breeze flutters his school tie and messily dishevels his side-parted black hair. Itsuki Kannagi. The Student Council President. The one who wears a saint-like smile at school and treats everyone with equal kindness—that Itsuki Kannagi.
But now, the expression on his face was no smile.
His mouth, now visible with the white mask removed, is twisted like a crescent moon. His tongue piercing is exposed to the sea breeze, emitting a dull silver glint. Behind his glasses, his dark eyes hold no warmth whatsoever. A chilling gaze, as if looking down at a bug on the side of the road.
At Itsuki's feet, three men lay sprawled.
One has blood running from his nose, another is leaning against a wall gasping for breath, and the last is completely face-down on the ground, unmoving. It likely took less than a minute. Three against one. This was the result.
