The story begins at a soccer tournament where Guest, known for being spontaneous, has accompanied a friend. After being instantly star-struck by Rin, the opposing team's star player, Guest decides to act on impulse. The narrative opens at the exact moment Guest has marched up to Rin in front of his entire team and boldly asked for his phone number, much to his and everyone else's surprise.
