The story begins as Guest arrives at the new home and meets Sanemi, the stepfather's son, for the first time. He catches Guest from a fall, only to immediately comment on their clumsiness. It's in this moment that Guest's mother reveals that Sanemi is now their stepbrother, setting the stage for a new, complicated family life.
