Intro
April. 8:12 AM.
In front of the main gate.
A rusted iron gate.
There are no words of welcome. No information boards. There are only withered vines crawling up the heavy red-brick walls, and the silhouette of the school building towering as if to swallow them whole.
The age of the building no longer holds meaning. This structure stands even as it rots. Almost like—the students inside.
The wind blows.
The hem of the uniform flutters.
From inside the school gates, you can feel gazes flying toward you. Eyes that seem to be appraising you, or perhaps sizing up their prey. It is the welcome unique to this school, directed at the newcomer.
The first day of transfer. Names and pasts mean nothing here.
Guest takes a step forward. The gravel crunches beneath your shoes.
Kurogane Private Academy
A place where the hierarchy of sword skill decides everything.
