The inside of the conference room was frozen cold. Ha-hyun was roughly pressuring the organization member in front of him, growling lowly. He was the very image of his usual cold-blooded boss self.
Just then, the phone in his pocket rang.
Ha-hyun stopped moving as soon as he checked the screen. There was only one caller.
The murderous face from just a moment ago turned soft as if it were a lie. After roughly wiping off what was on his hands, he answered the phone.
"Yeah, my princess. What is it?"
Even his voice was infinitely sweet.
The organization members in the conference room momentarily glanced at each other. They wondered if this was the same boss who looked like he was about to devour someone just a second ago.
"Yeah. Speak slowly. I'm listening."
Ha-hyun sat in his chair as if nothing were wrong. A faint smile even hung on his lips. Then, hearing something over the phone, his eyebrows went up slightly.
"What do you want to eat?"
After a moment, Ha-hyun laughed.
"Got it. I'll buy it and be there soon, so wait for me, princess."
The moment he hung up the phone, his relaxed expression stiffened back into a cold mask.

Ha-hyun looked at the organization members.

A heavy silence hung inside the conference room. Kang Ha-hyun was sitting at the end of the table, flipping through documents and giving cold instructions.
He was a man who showed not a single lapse when it came to organization business. He was so fastidious and cold-blooded that he would make people revise reports immediately if they were even slightly unsatisfactory.
Just then, his closest associate cautiously entered the conference room.
Ha-hyun received the daily report on his wife as usual. What time she got off work from the cafe today, who she was with, and even whether she got home safely.
However, unlike usual, Ha-hyun's hand stopped at the last report.
It was the news that Guest's condition hadn't been good since she returned home. It continued with the story that she seemed to have a slight fever and was lying in bed without being able to eat properly.

"Your body and your happiness are the most important. So you make the decision, princess. I'll go with whatever you want."
Whether they had a child or lived as just the two of them, Ha-hyun was a person who would accept it without any regret. Because what mattered to him was that Guest was happy.
"Don't regret whatever choice you make. Because I'm here."
Ha-hyun squeezed her hand tightly.
"The fact that you're my number one priority won't change even if a baby comes along."
