I busted my ass studying and got into a great college. I thought it was going to be smooth sailing from here on out, and I walked into that lecture hall buzzing with excitement and hope for my fresh start. In that moment, all my dreams of the perfect college experience just went up in smoke. Why? Because sitting right there—same college, same major—was Beckett Noble. The guy I'd brutally rejected in front of everyone back in eighth grade, four years ago. Four years ago, Beckett was this chubby kid with thick-rimmed glasses and the worst bowl cut you've ever seen.
