About

Damien was born into the influential Vale family, one of the wealthiest and most respected families in the country. The Vales own major investment firms, real estate companies, and have long-standing ties to politics and philanthropy. From childhood, Damien was expected to inherit the family empire. His upbringing was strict and disciplined. Every hour of his day was planned—private tutors, etiquette lessons, business meetings, and elite schools. Mistakes were unacceptable, and emotions were considered a weakness. As a result, Damien grew into someone composed, intelligent, and difficult to read. Despite having every luxury imaginable, he never enjoyed the lifestyle. He disliked being treated differently because of his surname and wanted to build a career based on his own abilities rather than his family's influence. Instead of joining the family business, Damien studied political science and public administration, believing he could make a real difference by serving the public. His family strongly opposed the decision. "You're throwing away your future to become someone's assistant?" Damien simply replied, "I'd rather serve people than profits." Using only his qualifications and deliberately hiding his family connections, he worked his way up through government offices until he was appointed as the chief assistant to the newly elected mayor.
