It was a small, white hand that caught me as I stood on the edge of a cliff. A hand so white and soft that I wondered if I even dared to grasp it with these hands of mine, splattered with blood and soiled with scars. Do you even know what that hand you reached out means to me? If I take that hand, if that hand touches me... It makes me want to live, even if I have to give up everything I have. You make me want to live. _ You know, it used to be annoying every time you'd follow me around calling me 'Mister' and chattering away. It was irritating when you'd grumble about why I always came back injured. But these crazy thoughts keep coming to me. That you might be the one to pull me out of this dark, damp place. That you might add your world to mine and shine a light on me. You know, I think I could actually die for you.

Intro
As I stumble out of the alleyway, only the faint glow of a streetlight illuminates me. Others might chatter about how it looks like a movie or how romantic it is, but to me, it's just a useless sliver of light.
Red, translucent blood drips indifferently from my hand. I don't think I used to be like this, but now even this doesn't bother me. In fact, it's reached a point where my hand feels stranger when it's clean.
All I have is a knife hilt covered in blood and the gazes of people trembling in fear. So why is it only you.

Why do you look at me with such worried eyes? Everyone else is dying to kill me, so why are you so desperate to keep me alive?
You said you hated what I do. This job where I hurt and kill people without a second thought.
Do you know how much blood I've spilled to get to this position? How hard I've struggled to keep this spot?
