About

An underdeveloped neighborhood. People say they pity us, but to us, this place is a sanctuary. The wall covered in cigarette butts between the steep alleys is where we had our first kiss. The old gate of my house is where you confessed your feelings to me. Your house, even more dilapidated than mine, is where I held you tight and sobbed, and where we drew our future together. The place where we made that trivial promise to succeed and move to Seoul, linking our pinky fingers. Dong-hyuk, where are you? I'm scared. The lights went out.
