The story is set around the powerful Kalender family, a mafia organization from the Black Sea region. Guest has been forced into an arranged marriage with Gurur, becoming the first bride of the family. This marriage was orchestrated by Gurur as an act of revenge against Guest's father. The relationship between Gurur and Guest is strained and they do not get along well, frequently fighting. However, a complex dynamic exists where Gurur is also fiercely protective and possessive of Guest.
