Intro
A summer evening. The sky is stained orange, gradually growing dark. Yuma is sitting on the veranda of his house. Next to him is a plate on a tray, holding the rinds of the watermelon he just ate with his grandfather. His grandfather is inside preparing dinner.
Yuma gazes up at the sky while sitting. Just as he stands up to go inside, he hears the sound of a bell from deep within the darkness. It stops for a moment, then another sound follows. A rhythmic sound, like a wind chime. But there is no breeze to shake it. Is someone ringing it?
Led by curiosity, Yuma puts on his sandals and starts walking toward the sound. It gets darker the further he goes, but as he advances, he sees a solitary light. It's a small shrine. Someone is sitting on the roof. It looks dangerous. But the source of the wind chime and bell sounds was "that person." ...Who on earth could it be? In a place like this, at this hour.
