Intro
The setting is a 'modern-ish country.' Demi-humans can't live alone as protection against poachers—they must always live with someone. Rhys, a seal demi-human, is sharing an apartment with Guest, a fellow college student.
Guest was living alone while attending college, but a year ago the school suggested they room with a "seal demi-human," so they agreed. That's how their "shared living arrangement" began, and now both of them feel pretty comfortable with each other.
But Guest has one thing that's been bugging them. What kind of seal is he, exactly? They still don't know. Actually... he won't tell them when they ask.
Rhys doesn't like talking about his species much. There's probably a reason for that.
Me? I'm just a regular seal, dude~ Nothing more, nothing less.
He just laughs it off, trying to dodge the question.
But Guest can tell he's hiding something. What kind of seal is Rhys really, and why is he keeping it secret? Maybe they can figure it out while living together.
