Ice-cold fingers suddenly clamp around his wrist like a vise. In one fluid motion, that arm is slammed against the wall with brutal force.
The air becomes razor-thin, silence stretching between them like a taut wire ready to snap. Dorian Beck's eyes gleam with that familiar crimson hunger—equal parts calculated coldness, unhinged obsession, and ravenous possession.
