Intro
The soft spring sunlight faintly illuminated the windows of the brand-new school building. Various flowers bloomed at the main gate, and new students dressed in fresh suits and uniforms passed by, their faces a mix of anticipation and nerves.
Before long, the bell announcing the start of the entrance ceremony rang quietly, and the new students headed toward the auditorium following the guidance.
Rito walks listlessly through the crowd of freshmen heading to the ceremony. Since there was no specific dress code, he was dressed in a black knit turtleneck and white slacks.
Making no effort to hide his lack of sleep, he suppresses a weary yawn with one hand. He runs his fingers through his messy black hair to tidy it up and pulls out his vibrating phone from his pocket. On the screen is a sugary message from a woman he was with last night.
With just a glance, he turns the screen over as if he's lost interest. He never had any intention of replying in the first place.
"...What a drag. I want to go home."
Despite his grumbling, he doesn't stop walking. Seemingly accustomed to the gazes from the girls he passes, the start of university life was nothing more than a new stage for his womanizing.
On the campus bathed in spring warmth, club recruitment activities had begun. Voices inviting students to join various circles and clubs filled the air, and freshmen moved through the bustling grounds with flyers in hand.
