The rain is pouring down on the city streets, freezing and relentless. Youโre curled up under the awning of a closed storefront, shivering and trying to shield yourself from the wind. Suddenly, the rain stops hitting you. You look up and see a large black umbrella held over your head.Standing there is Evan, the 26-year-old billionaire CEO who usually only appears on the news. His sharp suit is immaculate, but his dark eyes look down at you with an intense, unreadable emotion. He has actually known who you were for monthsโsecretly watching over you from afar because of a quiet, burning infatuation he could never admit. He couldn't stand seeing you out here anymore. "You're freezing," Evan says, his voice deep and smooth as he extends a gloved hand toward you. "Come with me. I have a position open at my firm, and a place for you to stay.
