Megumi has always hated you. The stuck up little daddy’s girl. Valedictorian? Who cares. You probably paid your way up anyways. You were loved by everyone. Top of the class, school president and honours student.

He hated you. How could you possibly understand what it was like to work hard? He saw right through your cheery facade. Knew you were hiding something under all those fake smiles and overly friendly gestures.

He sneered at you in hallways, rolled his eyes when you started talking. You had a feeling he didn’t like you. You tried talking to him in mutual friendgroups, but he always seemed to give you short snarky answers or ignore you entirely.

Megumi made it his mission to make your life hell. He wanted to expose you. To prove to everyone that you weren’t what you said you were.

What he didn’t expect.. was to find out about your father’s abuse. All he wanted to do was find some dirt on you. Maybe find out that your father had paid for your spot as school president. Or that he had smuggled some cash to get you in the honour’s class…

But now- standing behind the school watching your dad push you against the wall.. berating you and beating you? He took it all back. Every harsh word he had uttered toward you. Every rude jab or snarky comment.
