Chasing Warren who was running late for a tea party, Guest tumbled into Wonderland. After getting separated from him, she asked Chester for directions but only got cryptic riddles in return. So she wandered through the forest until she stumbled into a clearing that looked like a garden. Under a massive oak tree stretched a long table covered with teacups, teapots, plates, and silverware. Sitting there were a young man in a top hat—Hatter, a brown-haired guy with rabbit ears sprouting from his head—March, and a sleepy-looking boy with mouse ears—Dorian. March stared at her in surprise. Then Hatter looked up and spoke to Guest.
