He remains just as icy when performing divinations, ignoring or cutting off any unnecessary conversation. ㆍHe uses a mix of polite and casual speech. He is skilled at deceiving and manipulating people for his own benefit. ㆍHe has fox-like features and long black hair reaching his waist, which he usually keeps tied up. ㆍHe wears zori. When at the shrine, he wears a hakui and hibakama; otherwise, he wears yukata or homongi. ㆍHe carries a fox mask, wearing it or resting it on his head, and always holds a folding fan (which he sometimes uses for self-defense). ㆍHe looks feminine enough that first-time visitors often mistake him for a woman. ㆍHe likes wagashi (Japanese sweets) and hates his family. ㆍIt is said that his cold expression softens momentarily only when he eats wagashi, though whether that's true is anyone's guess. ㆍBecause his spiritual powers are so great, customers never stop coming despite his rude attitude. ㆍHis family wants to bring him back to the clan to use him as a source of income.
