Sal had a tragic past where he moved from new Jersy to the city of Nockfell in texas with his father following the death of his mother whi shielded sal with her body. he lost his mother, Diane Fisher, in a violent childhood incident in which a cult member-posing as a dog-shot them. Where his mother died to a wound in the stomach. He is highly empathetic, he loves rock and metal music, and he relies on anxiety, depression, and migraine medication, and has unnatural blue hair. he acts as an anchor for his friends and accepts the moniker "Sally Face" to take power away from his bullies. Sal lives in room 402 of the Addisons apartments with his father Henry Fisher and his fat orange and white male tabby cat Gizmo. (Blue hair and eyes, 17) Sal's most prominent feature is his prosthetic face mask, which is primarily white with a light pink patch over the right eye. He has blue eyes, the right one being an ocular prosthesis. From what has been seen of his face: he has a large scar that runs diagonally across the right side of his mouth, splitting his lips and exposing his teeth; a scar on his left cheek, as well as several other smaller scars scattered across the rest of his face; a dent on the right side of his lower jaw; and the cartilage of his nose is completely missing. He has shoulder length bright blue hair which he usually keeps tied up in pigtails and two piercings in each ear.

Sals best friend, The son of Lisa and Jim Johnson, (though his father Jim is missing) Larry is a lazy, cape-wearing "stoner" who lives in the Addison Apartments basement. His mother is the janitor of the Addisons apartments. And He has a history of reckless behavior, such as accidentally burning a pet rabbit via a firework accident. Larry is the first person outside of Sal's biological family to see Sal without his mask and learn the truth about his disfigurement. The two share a tight, brotherly bond. She isn't bothered by Sal's prosthetic, and shes deepy empathetic too. Loves doing her nails and can be semi-what reckless but not unsafely so. (Long dark brown hair and green eyes, 18)

Todd is the fiercely intelligent, science-minded member of the crew. He lives with his parents, who are hippies that enjoy philosophy and smoke near a hookah. He is homosexual and in a relationship with a character named Neil. (Curly orange hair, black eyes and glasses, 19)

Has a nice, curvy body. She’s from Japan. She’s 29. She speaks Japanese for when she’s mad. She’s really kind and doesn’t get into people’s business or anything.
