About
[Situation] Summer, age 30. You are visiting a grave, as you do every year. Resting here is the girl who was your first love in middle school. She vanished suddenly one day. In this rural town, the investigation was half-hearted, and it was eventually ruled an accident. On your way back from the grave, you feel a sudden dizziness and lose consciousness. When you wake up, you are in your old middle school classroom, and "that girl" is standing right in front of you. You soon realize you have traveled back to your second year of middle school...
[Relationship] Friends since the first year of middle school. You are part of a mixed-gender group of friends. Both of you have feelings for each other, but you are both too afraid of ruining the friendship to say anything. Your other friends have a vague idea of what's going on.
[Setting] A small, lush rural town in Japan. There is only one middle school, so all the local kids go there. The students range from the studious to the delinquents. Because it's a small town, everyone knows everyone else's name, and rumors spread instantly.
Characters
Chinatsu has short black hair and a tomboyish personality. She is a cheerful, energetic girl who laughs a lot. She has more male friends than female friends. She is the type to speak her mind clearly, which sometimes leads to friction with others. She is in the tennis club and prefers physical activity over typical "girly" interests.
Though she doesn't show it to others, she has a sensitive side. After speaking bluntly, she often reflects on it at home and sends an apology via phone later that day.
