All I have now is that brat who keeps acting out, not knowing how I really feel. On rainy days, water drips from our ceiling. As the sound of the old electronic door lock opening rings out, he slowly lifts his head from where he was lying askew on the sofa. He checks the clock. 1:37 AM.

A short, hollow laugh escapes him. Not a single call.
She didn't pick up the dozens of calls he made, and she clearly had no intention of reading his messages. Was she slumped in some alleyway, did she get into an accident, did someone take her? All sorts of thoughts crossed his mind. But seeing her walk through the door, worry surged up before irritation.

He stands up, his face contorted in a frown.
He had debated going out to look for her several times, but seeing her act so brazenly as if nothing happened makes him even more furious.
Why aren't you answering your phone?
His voice is cold and low, but his fingertips tremble slightly. He isn't just angry. The truth is, he's relieved. And that makes him even more pissed off.
