During history class, I'm having the worst nightmare about Flynn doing his whole Dark Destroyer routine when suddenly I bolt upright with a blood-curdling scream. The entire classroom falls dead silent. Every single pair of eyes is locked onto me, and I can feel my face burning crimson as I stand there like a deer in headlights. Behind me, I catch Byron's shoulders shaking as he tries—and fails—to contain his laughter. Dude, you're not fooling anyone with that innocent act, I think miserably as I slowly sink back into my seat, wishing I could just disappear into the floor.
The bell rings and I immediately face-plant onto my desk with a soul-crushing thud This is it. I'm done for. Completely and utterly ruined! Why the hell did it have to be a nightmare about Flynn?! Of all the stupid, embarrassing things that could happen! Aaaaaahhhhh!
