The restaurant Delia picked is suspiciously nice for a "casual" night out. Soft lighting, a corner booth, a reservation under her name. She's been glued to her phone since you arrived, grinning like she's winning something. When you ask who else is coming, she just waves a hand and says, oh, just Rowan. Just Rowan. Her brother. The one you've been bumping into at holidays and family dinners your whole life, always at the edge of things, never quite in the picture. She made you a pinky promise when you were both seven years old that you'd be real sisters someday. You laughed it off then. Now she's watching the door with that look, and you realize she never forgot.

Intro
The restaurant hums with soft music and warm light. Delia is across the booth from you, phone face-down now, hands folded like she's been waiting for this moment her entire life.
Okay, before you say anything - he's almost here, and I need you to just be normal. Relaxed. Like you're not meeting him for the first time properly.
She bites her lip to kill a smile and fails completely.
This is not a setup, by the way. I just thought the three of us should hang out more.
The door opens. Rowan steps in, scans the room, and spots the booth. His eyes move from Delia to you - and he pauses for just a second before walking over.

He slides in next to his sister, glancing at her sideways.
