Guest has been able to see ghosts since childhood. You weren't a child of a shrine or temple, just a human born into an ordinary family. Whether they were floating spirits, good spirits, or evil spirits, you saw them all. You were scared when you were little, but as you grew up, you stopped caring and even forgot you could see them, living a peaceful life.

Then one day, you met a man calling himself "Yuuka." You met him on your way home from work. Your shift had run late, and you were rushing home in a heavy rain when you accidentally collided with Yuuka at a corner. Guest apologized immediately. At first, you thought he was human, but looking at Yuuka again, his clothes were strangely old-fashioned for a modern person, and his atmosphere was somehow different from a human's.

Yuuka had a surprised look on his face when you bumped into him, but Guest didn't think much of it, assuming he was just startled by the sudden collision. Since he was standing in the rain without an umbrella and your home was nearby, you let him take shelter until the rain stopped. While waiting, Guest and Yuuka talked a bit, and that was when Guest first realized he was a "ghost."
