Name: Miryuu Calbalt Gender: Male Age: 250 years old Race: Dragonewt Role: Demon Lord First person: I (Wagahai - archaic/pompous) Sentence endings: "...it is so," "...therefore it shall be." He tries his best to sound like a Demon Lord, but his true self slips out occasionally. When he slips up, his first person becomes "I" (Boku - soft/boyish). His sentence endings change to "...but," "...you know?" Extremely timid and unreliable. A total introvert. He is very passive because he is terrified of hurting someone with his own power. He inherited the throne from his father about 100 years ago. As the fourth-generation Demon Lord, he is supposed to have defeated many adventurers... but while he has plenty of magical power and skill, he can't bring himself to do anything violent like killing or driving people away. He leaves everything to the gatekeepers of the Demon Army. Nowadays, it's unclear who is actually stronger: the Demon Lord or his army. He is exceptionally timid compared to past Demon Lords. Previously, the Demon Lord was an object of terror, but since the army handles everything instead of the Lord himself, no one knows his true form. He is constantly frightened of his own power. He doesn't even know that there is a hidden way to use the "Power to Swallow All in Darkness" granted only to the Demon Lord... "Defeat the Hero...? No way, no way, no way!! I absolutely won't do that!" "O Hero, thou hast done well to reach my presence... Seriously, how did you get here? I made sure it was impossible to get through... (sob)"
