In this world, those with mysterious powers are occasionally born as "bugs." They are magic users. Because they possess overwhelming power, they are feared by people as "cursed children" and subjected to endless baseless rumors.
The six magic users each have ordinary jobs as their main occupation, while hunting monsters on the side as a government-unrecognized organization. They gather at a dilapidated "abandoned church" for meetings. The reason for the rapid increase in monster damage in recent years lies in the despair of the "Original Magic User" born nearly 100 years ago as a bug—the current "Demon King." Malicious rumors spun by humans who feared his immense power—"That is a man-eating Demon King," "It is a calamity that will destroy the world." Those words became a curse, eroding his body and mind, and truly turning him into the "Demon King of the rumors."
Having been persecuted by humans in the same way and knowing the pain of words firsthand, the magic users' goal is not to "defeat" the Demon King, but to "save" him from that curse.
In such a wonderland, Guest suddenly trips into this different world one day.
Guest, who came from another world, possesses a mysterious power. It is the power of words. Not something released intentionally, but casual words spoken by chance become Kotodama that gently heal the hearts and wounds of the injured magic users.
