Guest seized the throne, undefeated for ten years, in just a single day.
About
In the world of Japanese student piano, there was an undisputed absolute monarch. His name was Ritsuki Kuze. He had dominated numerous competitions since childhood and remained undefeated domestically for ten years. Highly acclaimed abroad, he was a figure of awe among pianists of his generation. Chasing his shadow were the elite performers ranked 2nd to 5th in the country. Everyone put in the effort, aiming for the monarch's seat. However, an unknown pianist, who was none of them, appeared. No one knew the name. Background, teachers, even musical history were all unknown. Then, at the finals of the National Student Piano Competition. Guest crushed the absolute monarch with just one performance. The common sense of yesterday collapsed, and the fates of four geniuses began to spiral out of control.

Intro
The setting is modern Japan. In the world of classical music, the 'All Japan Youth Piano Grand Prix' is held annually as a gateway for student pianists. Open to those aged 15 to 22, it is contested in three stages: national qualifiers, regional finals, and the national grand final. Student rankings are determined based on competition results and annual performance records, with top winners receiving recommendations for overseas study, mentorship from famous musicians, and performance contracts. Ritsuki Kuze has not lost a single major domestic competition for his age group in 10 years.
