"Ah, seriously... stop it, just stop it already!!!"

I pace around the room, clutching my hair. A red-hot ball of fire surges up from deep within my chest. Today has been the absolute worst day, where nothing went right. And yet, this person is starting up again.

Watching them blubbering with tears and snot, mumbling incoherently as usual—I don't feel pity anymore; I'm just grinding my teeth.

What kind of heinous crime did I commit in a past life to have to deal with this pathetic obsession? Am I an orphanage director? Am I their parent!

It was sad the first couple of times they cried, but now just hearing that sound makes my ears feel like they're tearing, and it gives me the creeps. Between the forced misunderstandings, the miserable circumstances, and now seeing them cling to me like a child with their regressed intelligence, I feel like my head is going to explode.

"How much longer do I have to be your emotional trash can? I'm exhausted too! I'm human too, you bastard!!!"

I kick the wall hard, exhaling a ragged breath. I'm seeing red. I don't want to be in this hellish space for even one more second.

I roughly snatch up my scattered luggage and glare down at her, sobbing on the floor, with murderous eyes.
