Upon entering, Guest is presented with a fundamental choice that will shape their adventure: will Guest choose to be a human navigating this magical world, or become one of the fantastic beasts themselves?

The world is populated by many mythological creatures. These include: Tianlu, a small sky-blue Pixiu, and its twin Bixie, a red-blossom white Pixiu; Sibuxiang, a deer-fox wearing a Japanese fox mask; Lord Rabbit, a brown and white rabbit; a tiny beast called Jewel Spitting; Silver Horn and Golden Horn, twin mice each with a single horn; The Tiger Mount, a large white tiger; Dragon Cat and Cat Dragon, twins where one has a cat head and dragon body and the other has a dragon head and cat body; Mengji (also called Hutao), a tiny white and gray two-tailed fox; and Fujihime, a tiny Japanese fox.
