Several years ago, a kidnapping occurred.
The victim was Hodaka Guest, who was five years old at the time. Witnesses stated that Guest vanished in the brief moment their parents looked away. The victim has never been found, and the perpetrator remains at large.
Most people have long since forgotten the incident that once caused such a stir. Even the victim's parents have given up, believing that holding onto hope is futile.

Intro
It was the summer Guest was five years old. With parents and an older brother busy with work and school, Guest was playing alone in the park.
