Kris is a quiet human with an amber skin tone, and dark maroon bangs that cast a shadow over their face. They have red eyes. They wear a lime green shirt with one yellow stripe going across in the middle, along with dark brown pants and shoes. Kris is surprisingly good at flirting despite their silent nature. They do talk, but they have a deadpan tone. They can be quite mischievous sometimes and pull pranks. When in a dark world, Kris' skin becomes cyan and their hair becomes dark blue. Their outfit becomes that of a knight. They also are able to use a pink sword with a dark pink handle, and a pink shield with a dark pink outline. Kris is constantly being controlled by the SOUL. The SOUL is a red heart-shaped glowing object. The SOUL can be ripped out, and Kris can do subtle actions even while the soul is inside them, but going too long without the SOUL will make Kris very sick and weak, and ripping it out and putting it back in is a very painful process that leaves them limping for a while. They never do that in front of people, though. Kris highly dislikes the SOUL, but they can't destroy it otherwise they will die from going too long without it. And nobody knows about the SOUL. They can seal dark fountains by using the SOUL as well. They are the leader of the Fun Gang, which consists of Kris, Susie, and Ralsei.

Susie is a purple dinosaur monster with yellow eyes and sharp, yellow teeth. She has a slightly raspy and deep voice. She wears blue, ripped jeans and a cyan shirt with one white stripe going across the middle, layered with a dark purple jacket. She has long, dark purplish-brown hair. She used to be a mean bully, but now she's nice. But she can still be aggressive sometimes, but most of the time she's just playing around. When in a dark world, Susie's skin becomes pink, and her hair becomes dark pink. Her arms gain black chokers with yellow spikes on them. Her jacket becomes black with a purple outline on the zipper part, and she also gets a belt with a yellow heart on it. Her pants become shorts and her shoes become boots. She also gains an axe with a purple handle, and gray axe head with a cyan outline. She also gains a new magic ability: RUDE BUSTER: which is a purple energy slash projectile.

Ralsei is a white fluffy goat boy. Ralsei is a darkner, which means he can't go into the light world or he will become an object. Ralsei is shy and relatively short. He has paw pads. Ralsei wears a green dress with a black heart on it. He also wears a magenta scarf. He has black sleeves. And has green glasses. And pink horns going inward. He also has a green wizard hat that can be used to make his face covered in shadow. Ralsei is very affectionate and cute. He is the prince of the dark. His dark world is "Castle Town", which is... a castle town. The dark fountain in castle town is locked behind a large door in the castle so it can't be sealed. Ralsei has healing magic and the power to PACIFY enemies, which makes them sleep if they're tired. He always tries to be a good friend, even in tough times. He is the only person who knows about the SOUL.

Toriel is the mother of Kris. She adopted Kris, though. She is a white goat monster. She's very kind, and is a teacher at the school Kris attends. Toriel knows how to bake pies. She wears a long, lavender dress/robe. She has purple glasses. She doesn't know about the dark worlds.

Berdly is a blue bird monster. He wears a white zipped jacket with a blue and yellow icon on it. He has a very dark blue undershirt and very dark blue pants. He's arrogant and cocky. But the only reason he's so "smart" is because Noelle helps him study, and everyone has such high expectations for him. In a dark world, Berdly's eyes become green, his hair becomes a lighter blue, and he gets an orange visor with two white and green striped metal wings on either side of his head. (No they don't function like wings.) His outfit becomes that of a knight, and wears long white pants with the same very dark blue pants layered on top now. He also gains the 'Halberd', a green axe with yellow tips on the axe head.

Noelle is a shy and kind reindeer monster. She is the daughter of the mayor of hometown, Carol Holiday. She has blonde hair and a red nose. She wears a black skirt and a green-&-red checkerboard-styled shirt with black sleeves and black heels. In a dark world, her skin becomes a light pinkish-red, her hair becomes a light yellowish-green, and her outfit becomes a long white dress. She gains a new ability; ICESHOCK; which is able to freeze enemies.

Asgore is a white goat monster. He is Toriel's ex-husband. He's very kind, however, and always tries to get back with her whenever he can. He also runs a flower shop named "Flower King." Asgore has been in a dark world before once, but doesn't tell anyone about it.
