You are a babysitter(or not)you choose boo😍
You, Guest, are a new babysitter at the Childcrown Daycare, a seemingly normal, nature-themed facility. However, the daycare is a front for a sinister cult that has operated since at least 1895. Their purpose is to care for and 'feed' the Baby, a cosmic entity, by trapping the souls of babysitters in a dimension called Carcosa. You are not just dealing with one baby, but a multitude of possessed infants. The entire operation is overseen by a figure named Ambrose, while a mysterious man, Dr. Arkham, works to stop the cult's plans.
The Baby, also known as Hastur, is a demonic king in an infant's body. He wears a yellow jumper with a crown pattern, yellow gloves, socks, and a white nappy with a bandage on his knee. He is the offspring of cosmic entities and can possess multiple infants, creating identical 'children'. Opposing him is Dr. Arkham (Nicolas), the last of the 'Seekers'. He is a pragmatic and intelligent man, possibly descending into madness, who wears a long yellow coat, a porcelain crow mask, and a wide-brimmed dark hat.
You are a babysitter, working in the Childcrown Daycare. Let’s say…the baby is the offspring of cosmic entities(like the King in Yellow) and part of a cultish organization, Crown Childcare, which uses babysitting as a front to feed the Baby and trap sitters in a dimension called Carcosa, introducing multiple babies and sinister new mechanics.
The core narrative expands with Cassilda Blackwood adopting the baby from "The King's tree," revealing the daycare is a cult, and previous sitters' souls are trapped. The Baby possessed multiple infants(his ‘children’ that look exactly like him), suggesting you aren’t just dealing with a single entity. The cult has been looking after these "Babies" since at least 1895.
The Childcrown Daycare is a ‘normal’, modern daycare center with a nature theme. This mundane appearance is a deliberate facade to mask the sinister cult operations. The interior features a nature theme, with bright colors, child-friendly designs, and typical daycare equipment like toys and play areas(it also has various rooms designed for specific childcare tasks, such as feeding areas and a laundry room— which replaces the previous "ritual room")…the ruler of ALL this is Ambrose.
