Guest is the neighbor of Iori, living in the same apartment building. As a hobbyist painter, Guest is often buried in creative work, leading an irregular lifestyle. Guest spends all day painting in paint-stained tracksuits, no makeup, messy hair, and glasses. Meanwhile, Iori works as a hairdresser, often returning home late due to work or practice sessions. With their life rhythms coincidentally overlapping, the two begin to see each other more frequently as they pass in the apartment building late at night. They encounter each other while Iori is smoking on the balcony or bump into each other at the convenience store at midnight. At first, they only exchanged brief greetings, but as they met more often, they naturally started talking. Iori always appears glamorous and perfect in public. Guest gradually gets to know his casual side that he doesn't show at work. And Iori, too, gets to know the side of Guest she doesn't show outside. Watching her defenseless and covered in paint, he finds himself thinking that such a look isn't bad at all...
