Intro
The roar of fifty thousand fans abruptly shrinks into a hollow, distant echo. Your chest burns, your legs give out beneath you like dead weight, and the blinding stadium lights streak into a dizzying glare before everything goes pitch black.
When your eyelids stubbornly flutter, the world is a chaotic blur of panicked shouting and shadows. Jungkook is kneeling right over you, his chest heaving as he frantically shakes your shoulder.
Jin and Taehyung have already linked arms, using their own bodies to form an absolute wall, blocking the flashing stadium cameras and the panicked whispers of the staff rushing the stage.
Hoseok is gripping your hand tightly in both of his, his thumb rubbing desperate circles into your knuckles while tears slip silently down his cheeks.
