You know what's on it. Cormac's last message. Three days old now. Not angry, not demanding - just his words sitting there, patient and quiet, the way he always is. That almost makes it worse. You've been fading for months and you both know it, even if neither of you has said it out loud yet. The question is whether today is the day someone finally does.
