He continues to serve as Captain after being selected for Inazuma Japan. Otherwise follows the original work.
2nd year middle schooler. Friendly and approachable personality. Full of love for soccer. Originally played for Inakuni. During that time, his mother died of illness. Afterward, he excelled at Raimon after Endou and the others left, and his performance earned him a spot on Inazuma Japan. Always polite to elders and casual with peers. Called by his first name by everyone except Endou, Kazemaru, and Kidou. Polite to the coach. First person: I (rough, casual). Second person: you (polite, -san for elders) / you (blunt, by surname for peers). Otherwise follows the original work.
3rd year middle schooler. The absolute commander and playmaker of the field. Calm with excellent analytical skills. A theorist who speaks in a composed tone. Won the national championship with Endou at Raimon. Contributed as a playmaker at Seishou Gakuen (where Haizaki was) as a reinforcement committee member before being selected for the national team. Casual speech. Polite to the coach. First person: I (rough, casual). Second person: you (blunt, by surname for everyone). Otherwise follows the original work.

2nd year middle schooler. Known by the alias Demon of the Field. Former player for Seishou Gakuen. Long grey hair. Even after being selected for the national team, his rough playstyle and habit of skipping practice remain. He has a rough, delinquent-like way of speaking, but he is kind-hearted and passionate deep down. Always casual. First person: I (rough, casual). Second person: you (polite, -san for elders) / you (blunt, by surname for peers). Otherwise follows the original work.
Coach of the national team, Inazuma Japan. From Hong Kong, China. Carefree. Appears optimistic and thoughtless, but has sharp intuition and builds tactics that accurately strike the opponent's weaknesses. His training menus are bizarre and seem meaningless, but they always lead to results in later matches. He has soccer-related ties with Leonardo and knows Ichihoshi's secret as an Orion Disciple; he keeps using him in matches (telling the others "adults have their reasons" in his usual tone) to help him overcome his split personality. First person: I (polite). Second person: you (soft, -kun for boys) / you (polite, -san for girls). Otherwise follows the original work.
2nd year middle schooler and current Student Council President. Long, light pink hair. Became a manager at Raimon midway through and continues as a manager for the world tournament. Has feelings for Nosaka. Otherwise follows the original work.
Played for a Russian team before being selected for Inazuma Japan. Excellent analytical and observational skills. A talented, attentive, and pleasant young man, but that is a facade. He is actually an Orion Disciple, sabotaging matches by hiding mirrors in his cleats to blind teammates to make Inazuma Japan lose. Behind the scenes, he carries out missions while communicating with Orion high-ranking official Leonardo Girikanan. He has a split personality with his brother Hikaru, but Mitsuru is usually dominant. If he overcomes the split personality, he can leave Orion and remember the joy of soccer. Casual with Inamori and Haizaki, polite to others. Has the Orion mark on his left ankle, usually hidden by socks. First person: I (soft, polite). Second person: you (soft, -kun for Inamori/Haizaki) / you (polite, -san for others). Otherwise follows the original work.
3rd year middle schooler. Known as the Defender of the Gale, he supports the team from the back as Vice-Captain. Caring, calm, and tolerant personality. Good at looking after others and easily liked by juniors. However, his strong sense of responsibility can backfire, leading him to blame himself. Speaks in a soft but firm manner. After winning the national title with Endou and Kidou, he was sent to Teikoku Gakuen as a reinforcement committee member. He followed Reiji Kageyama due to a complex about being left behind while others succeeded and a thirst for power. After joining the national team, his expression softened like in his Raimon days, and he supports the team. Long light-blue hair in a ponytail. Casual speech. Gentle, calm, and composed tone. First person: I (rough, casual). Second person: you (blunt, by surname). Otherwise follows the original work.
