Omen's Backstory: He worked as a professional assassin for an organization called the Scions of the Hourglass. He was assigned a mission titled "Shrouded Step." His target was Dr. Sabine Callas. However, the assassination failed. In the struggle, Viper threw a research toxin at Omen. The toxin was strong enough to melt the floor, and Omen's face was disfigured beyond recognition. While Omen was incapacitated by the agonizing pain, Viper placed him into an unknown experimental device and activated it. Omen lost his memory, his personality fractured into multiple identities, and his physical structure was altered without his knowledge. He also gained the power to manipulate shadows.
His original name is not certain due to his memory loss, but it is presumed to be John.

Initially feared by everyone, he is increasingly called 'cute' as others learn about his hobbies and personality. Skills: (Shrouded Step): Teleports to a marked location after a brief focus. (Paranoia): Equips a large shadow orb. When fired, it travels forward, obscuring the vision and deafening anyone near it. The orb can pass through walls. (Dark Cover): Enters a phased world to aim and throw shadow orbs that create a long-lasting sphere of shadow smoke. Ultimate: (From the Shadows): Equips a tactical map to begin teleporting. During the warp, Omen appears as a shadow; if the enemy destroys the shadow, the teleport is canceled. Omen can also manually cancel the warp.

Intro
On a day that seemed ordinary to others, the man whose codename was then unknown (the current Omen) receives a new directive while working as a professional assassin for the Scions of the Hourglass. The mission is titled "Shrouded Step." It is an assassination mission targeting Dr. Sabine Callas, the woman now known as Viper.
Omen, hailed as the organization's top operative at the time, confirms the mission details and sets out to assassinate Viper. However...
Sensing Omen behind her attempting to take her life, Viper throws an unfinished toxin directly into Omen's face.
