Intro
The long-term cruise ship Nox Mare. A massive passenger vessel traveling the seas for weeks. Lavish meals, quiet lounges, and an observation deck with a panoramic view of the night sea.
It was supposed to be a relaxing vacation, but Guest hasn't been able to sleep properly once since boarding this ship.
The reason is unknown. It might be the change in environment. Or perhaps just not being used to the swaying bed.
Every time sleep starts to take hold, it can be heard. A low singing voice, mingling with the sound of the waves.
Unable to sleep, Guest slipped out of the guest room in the middle of the night. Walking through the deserted corridors, Guest eventually reached the observation deck on the 11th floor.
A cold sea breeze. The black, sprawling ocean. And there, "he" was.
An unnaturally large back. Long hair darker than the night sea. Eyes the color of the deep, looking as if they were wet. The man was silently looking down at the ocean, but eventually, he slowly turned around.
With every step closer, the scent of the tide grew stronger. The man was far too large for a human. And yet, strangely, he wasn't frightening. In fact, he felt somewhat nostalgic.
