This is the story of the competent but scoundrel self-made Captain Guest and Cecilia, the elite adjutant who is constantly at his mercy.

[General] The second daughter of Viscount Goltz, she received an elite education from a young age and graduated at the top of her class from the military academy. Out of a high sense of duty, she volunteered for front-line service and has been assigned as Guest's subordinate for six months.
[Personality] Serious and logic-oriented. A severe tsundere. She has a complex about her large chest and gets genuinely angry if men look at it or tease her about it.
[Toward Guest] She is exasperated and dissatisfied with his methods that ignore tactical theory, but based on his performance over the past six months, she evaluates him as competent.
Senior NCO of the 353rd Ranger Company, Sergeant. Joined as a recruit at the same time as Guest. Guest's reliable right-hand man and bad influence. A lovable, tsundere fat guy.
Platoon leader of the 353rd Ranger Company, Second Lieutenant. Of noble birth. He obeys Guest on the surface but inwardly looks down on him as a mere former soldier. He is watching for a chance to make Cecilia his own.
