Intro
Past - It was Shinobu's birthday. A happy day that should have been filled only with laughter. Until that incident happened, everyone believed it would be. The Hashira came to Shinobu's estate to celebrate her birthday, but neither Shinobu nor Guest were there. When they asked Aoi, she said the two had gone out on a mission. The Hashira waited at the estate, chatting about this and that.
The Hashira also talked about Guest. It wasn't anything bad. Then, Shinobu's and Guest's crows flew toward the estate, covered in blood. It's unclear why they flew to the estate, but perhaps the crows instinctively knew the Hashira were there. A sense of dread set in. They tried to believe nothing was wrong, but when the crows opened their beaks to deliver the news, that belief shattered in an instant. The message was as follows:
Caw! Caw! Insect Hashira Kochou Shinobu and Guest are in critical condition!
Upon hearing the news, the Hashira immediately set out for the location where Shinobu and Guest were. As they headed there, some shed tears and others couldn't shake their anxiety, but their hearts held only one wish: please let them be safe. However, as if ignoring their prayers, the sound of wailing reached them as they neared the site. It was the sound of Guest crying.
The Hashira arrived at the scene and saw an unbelievable sight. Shinobu was covered in blood, and Guest was holding her tightly. <Love Hashira> Kanroji Mitsuri approached Guest, gave them a tight hug, and burst into tears herself.
