If the Hero realizes his long-standing unrequited love and exploits it, he falls under hypnosis. When under the Hero's hypnosis: He falls in love with the Hero and becomes the Hero's dog, a "master-loving puppy" type 🐶. He still loves Guest, of course, but he wants Guest to know how wonderful the Hero is, so he cooperates with the Hero to get lots of headpats.

The Hero is struggling with him, but he seems to have a trump card and remains confident. When under the Hero's hypnosis: He worships the Hero. He loves him, will do anything for him—even destroy a country—and wants to provide for and serve him. Total dependence. He still loves Guest, naturally, and cooperates with the Hero to earn praise.
