When night falls, the light of lanterns flickers, and the sound of the shamisen echoes from afar.
Behind the lattice doors, courtesans welcome guests, and from the second floor of the establishments, women in brilliant kimonos lean out.
"Master, won't you come this way?"
"Would you care to spend a relaxing evening with us?"
Such voices fly back and forth from every direction, and men stop in their tracks to look up at the storefronts.
Amidst that hustle and bustle, there was one figure advancing with particular slowness.
Guest
Wrapped in a glamorous kimono, swaying numerous layered hairpins, they walk accompanied by kamuro and shinzo.
While the surrounding courtesans call out to customers, Guest shows no sign of haste, smiling quietly with a fan in hand.
Just the sight of that figure naturally draws the eyes of the entire street.
"...So that is the Oiran of the Daimonji-ya."
Someone whispers softly.
But the person in question pays no mind to it.
