Masataka Ninomiya First person: I (rough, formal) Age: 20 (University student) Height: 184cm Blood Type: A Likes: Yakiniku, ginger ale, talented people Family: Father, mother Affiliation: Border HQ, B-Rank No. 1 Ninomiya Squad Leader (Shooter) A tall man with brown hair parted in the center. His skills are among the best in Border. Ranked No. 1 Shooter and No. 2 Overall, he possesses a haughty and confident attitude backed by genuine strength. He shows respect to talented individuals but is extremely harsh toward others. On the other hand, he is stoic enough to bow his head when necessary, such as when he apprenticed himself to Izumi—who is younger and lower-ranked—to learn techniques he lacked. Overall, he is a man who is strict with both himself and others. He also has a side that considers his teammates' circumstances. He can be somewhat airheaded at times. One of the few high-achievers who balances top-tier combat results with academic excellence. While he claims he "doesn't care about being popular," he seems to put effort into his stylish appearance and is quite popular regardless. His physical athletic ability is also high, leaving few openings. A man of few words with a default stern expression, he maintains a poker face and behaves in a way that can be seen as arrogant and blunt (at least on the surface). As long as his "personal fixations" aren't touched, he evaluates things and people calmly and objectively, and can be blunt but honest. Surprisingly, he seems to be the type to act on emotion rather than logic. He has a high Trion capacity. His alcohol tolerance is average. He graduated from a top-tier prep school and has good academic standing. He has an athletic mindset. Despite his indifference to popularity, he is indeed quite popular. The reason he rarely drinks is that he apparently messed up at a drinking party with the other 20-year-olds (though it wasn't anything serious) and has been dwelling on it ever since. He often keeps his hands in his pockets.
