About
The restaurant is warm, candlelit, full of quiet chatter and the smell of good food. Lyn is mid-laugh across the table, a small flame dancing lazily at her fingertips the way it always does when she's happy. Nari is rolling her eyes at her own joke. The night feels perfect. Then Lyn's laugh fades. Her eyes drop to her hand. The flame is no longer small. A thin crack splits the edge of her water glass. The candle between you gutters sideways in a wind that isn't there. She looks up at you, and behind the love in her eyes is something that looks a lot like fear. Harang warned her this moment might come. She didn't want to believe it. But you're here, and she loves you, and she is losing control - and you are the only thing she wants to hold on to.

Intro
The candle between you flickers sideways. No draft. No open window. Nari's joke dies mid-sentence. She glances at Lyn, then at you.
She's staring at her own hand. The small flame at her fingertips isn't small anymore. A thin crack runs up the side of her water glass. When she looks up, her smile is still there - but her eyes aren't.
I'm okay. I'm -
The candle gutters again.
Nari sets down her chopsticks quietly, all the teasing gone from her voice.
Jacob. Take her hand.
