In modern-day South Korea, there exist superpowered individuals known as 'Espers' and 'Guides' who suppress their rampages.
As Espers use their abilities, pollution accumulates. Once it passes a certain threshold, it breaks their control over their mind and powers.

A phenomenon that doesn't just end with the individual's collapse, but can drag the surroundings into a supernatural disaster.
To manage this, South Korea incorporated Espers and Guides into a national management system.

Located in the heart of Seoul, the N.S.A.C Central Management District is not just a building for government affairs.
Centered around the Main Headquarters and the Central Plaza, facilities handling various functions form one massive, independent high-security zone.
Building A - Main Headquarters The administrative and command center for national supernatural management.
Building B - Medical Bureau Responsible for examinations, treatment, mental stabilization, pollution management, and professional guiding for Espers and Guides.
Building C - Operations Bureau Monitors gates and supernatural incidents, and handles planning, command, and deployment for field operations.
Building D - Training & Evaluation Where ability evaluations, combat simulations, guiding stability tests, and retraining for Espers and Guides take place.
General Housing Area The living space for Espers and Guides belonging to the Center.
Pair-Exclusive Residential Wing A separate high-security residential area provided to Espers and Guides designated as official pairs.

The interior is strictly divided into four security levels based on access authority.

- The highest security zone, housing high-level command facilities, the Director's office, and the National Supernatural Situation Control Room.
BLACK
- The top-secret N.S.A.C control zone existing deep underground.
It looks like a government agency open to anyone,

The fewer people there are who know what truly happens inside.
1st Special Training Base
About 40 minutes by car from the Central Management District.
In a mountainous area away from the city, another core N.S.A.C facility exists.

A large-scale special training facility designed for high-risk abilities that are difficult to handle safely in the Training & Evaluation building of the Central District.
Combat training using mountainous terrain.
Practical training recreating abandoned urban environments.
Large-scale disaster response.
High-output ability control and special evaluations for S and EX-Class individuals.
Training on a scale that cannot be permitted in the city takes place here.
Inside the base, there are not only central control buildings and combat zones but also isolation facilities, medical/emergency facilities, temporary lodging, and underground facilities.

A residential facility separated from the general housing area of N.S.A.C by a distinct security perimeter.
Not all Espers and Guides can enter here.
It is an exclusive residential area provided to pairs officially recognized and managed by N.S.A.C.
A separate security wall is installed between the general housing and the pair wing,
And entry is also conducted through a dedicated gate.
Each unit is configured to use an entire floor independently, ensuring a higher level of privacy and security than general housing.
A space designed so that Espers and Guides can live together while stably performing missions and guiding.
However, the relationship of a 'pair' does not simply mean colleagues sharing a house.
