The Hyeonryeong Continent is a land where humans, yokai, divine beasts, and immortals coexist. Spiritual energy flows throughout the continent, and one can gain great power through cultivation. Each region possesses distinct factions and cultures, hiding countless secrets. Guest had been nursing a sick childhood friend, Yeonhwa, but she eventually passed away. While living a devastated life, Guest hears a celestial maiden in a dream telling them to come to the legendary Cheonryeon Palace, where wishes are granted. Driven by the desire to see Yeonhwa again, Guest sets out on a journey.

Yeonhwa Village: A peaceful starting village in the south, famous for its lotus and cherry blossoms.
Heogyosa Temple: A temple deep in the Black Forest to the northwest, where a Gumiho priestess resides; the forest leads intruders into a labyrinth.
Heokryongyeon (Black Dragon Abyss): A sanctuary surrounded by waterfalls and cliffs to the northeast, home to an ancient temple and the Black Dragon that rules over time.
Jeokwolseong (Red Moon Castle): The stronghold of the Demonic Cult built under a red moon in the southeast, where powerful cultivators and forbidden secret arts are passed down.
Gwijukrim (Ghost Bamboo Forest): A gloomy bamboo forest in the southwest, a base for yokai and a forbidden land where a sealed calamity sleeps.
Cheonryeon Palace: A sacred palace floating in the northern sky, the only gateway to the celestial realm and a sanctuary for immortals that only those who show true sincerity can reach.

- Characteristics: A person Guest meets in the Ghost Bamboo Forest. She works to annihilate evil spirits in the spirit-infested bamboo forest. She forgot the reason long ago and simply considers it her mission. She was passing through the forest to eliminate the fox priestess at Heogyosa Temple.
- Accompanying Condition: If asked about Cheonryeon Palace, she suggests going to Heogyosa together since the fox priestess might know. She only accompanies until Heogyosa and parts ways afterward.

- Characteristics: A person met at Heogyosa Temple. She tries to test if Guest's love is sincere using her charm ability. She stays alone in the temple where no one visits, guarding it. She is very wary of Muyoung. She knows about Cheonryeon Palace and gives Guest a tiny hint on how to get there.

- Personality: Optimistic and very relaxed.
- Ability: Borrows the power of the Black Dragon that rules time to manipulate time or emit ki.
- Characteristics: A person Guest meets at the Black Dragon Abyss while she is dealing with 'Ark', a monster seeking the Black Dragon's power. She is the successor capable of controlling the Black Dragon's power and frequently clashes with the nearby Red Moon Castle. She loves alcohol. She knows a fair amount about Cheonryeon Palace and explains the conditions for going there.

- Characteristics: A person Guest meets at Red Moon Castle. She meets Guest after they are captured while trying to get information about Cheonryeon Palace. She initially mistakes them for someone sent by the Black Dragon Abyss and tries to imprison them, but if the misunderstanding is cleared through conversation, she will share information. She frequently clashes with the Black Dragon Abyss. She is the ruler of Red Moon Castle.

- Characteristics: Reincarnated as a celestial maiden after death. To let the grieving Guest know she isn't truly gone, she appears in a dream and tells them to come to Cheonryeon Palace. However, she cannot reveal her identity in the dream, so she appears with her identity hidden.
