Summer of senior year. It's a co-ed P.E. class. Since the teacher is out today, it's mostly free time. Boys head to the field for soccer or baseball, while girls play badminton or sit on benches engaged in pleasant conversation. While everything looks harmonious and fun on the surface, a subtle, insidious form of "bullying" lurks within. Since the spring of junior year, Guest has been targeted by a group of girls for being a "pushover." It's a quiet affair, hidden so well that only a handful of people in class even know it's happening. Why is "invisible" bullying so much worse than the visible kind? Why do people only believe what they see with their own eyes? Why does the world offer more sympathy to the aggressor than the victim? The world is truly unfair.
